Worship

The Mission of the Crossroads worship team is to lead the congregation into a place where our minds and hearts are ready to receive from the Lord.

Our Praise Band, Team, and Choir lead us in our services with songs of praise and worship. They are using the talents that GOD has given them for HIS glory.

Why do we clap our hands?
Psalms 47:1 “O clap your hands all ye peoples . . .” (NKJV)

Why do we lift our hands?
I Timothy 2:8 “I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere,

lifting holy hands, without wrath and doubting,” (NKJV)

Why do we praise the Lord out loud?
Psalms 100:1-2 “Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all ye lands! Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing!” (NKJV)
Psalms 150:6 “Let everything that has breath PRAISE THE LORD!” (NKJV)

Why do we sing as we do?
Ephesians 5:19 “Speaking to one another in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs,

singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.” (NKJV)

Why do we have musical instruments?
Psalms 150:4-5 “Praise Him with timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!

Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals!” (NKJV)

Why do we have ministry time?
I Corinthians 12:4-7 “Now there are varieties of gifts but the same Spirit,

and there are a varieties of ministries and the same Lord…”
