Daemon Shell
Worship Pastor
dshell@indiana.edu
Daemon rarely went to church growing up, but at the age of 15 realized he needed to give his life to God. His wife, Kim, went to church with her cousins or grandmother, and at the age of 16 accepted Christ into her heart.
They started dating right out of high school and after two years were married. Four years later their first daughter, Kendra, was born then another daughter, Skylar, and finally their son Keller. They live near Owensburg surrounded by their three adult children, their spouses, and seven grandkids. They still share the traditional Sunday lunch after church every week.
They have been involved in many different ministries at Crossroads since 1994. Daemon accepted the position of Worship Pastor for Crossroads in 2001 and also serves as a Board Elder. Kim sings on the praise team and choir and manages the website, Facebook, and projection system.
With a humble spirit Daemon leads the congregation into the presence of God through music, prayer and testimony. His heart’s desire is to worship and exalt God, and to see souls saved. He wants to encourage people to grow closer to Christ, and to lead by example.
